RESEARCH OVERVIEW ON SHAH WALIULLAH AND HIS EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Abstract

Hazrat Shah Waliullah is one of the famous personalities of eighteenth century. He had a great effect on the history of revival of literature. The divine guideline for the reform of Ummah he provided is remained a guideline after centuries. He was a great thinker, scholar and author of many books. One of his divine and prominent qualities is his moderation. He declared all four cults right and he emphasized to spend the lives according to the teachings of them. In fact, he was in deep favor to refer to the Holy Quran and Hadith.  Although almost all the views of jurisprudence are based on sincerity but if there is any sort of contradiction between their views and the teachings of Islam, then in this case Shah Waliullah went strictly against them. Shah Waliullah was very unique in his thoughts and ideas. It was very inappropriate to restrict him to some specific sect and topic. One of his greatest efforts was the translation of the Holy Quran in simple Persian language.  Later, his sons carried his work by translating it into Urdu language.
